Does your husband have a drop off spot (place to drop keys, wallet, phone, etc.) that works for him? If not (or the current spot is not working well for him), talk to him and see if you can find a workable solution.

We had a nice place for keys and cell phones, etc. until our grandson who lives with us turned into a toddler and had to come up with something even better. We have a magnetic mail sorter which hangs on the side of the refrigerator and decided to turn it into something useful and emptied out the coupons. We then took a surge strip and plugged it into an outlet close by and placed the surge strip on top of the refrigerator. Now the wallet, keys and cell phones all get dropped into the mail sorter, and can even get re-charged while in place! The cords are all “hidden” on top of the refrigerator (unless you’re really tall). Enjoy!
