Just 3 weeks after my hubby and I got married he went on a mission trip to Pearlington MS to help with Katrina clean-up. Before he left I bought a greeting card for each day that he would be gone (some funny, some romantic), noting on the outside of the card the order they should be opened. I tucked them in his suitcase and couldn’t wait for him to find them. That was 4 years ago and he still talks about how great it made him feel to know that even though we were so far apart I was still thinking of him.
