Guys have a fascination for body parts (it’s the visual thing). It’s not meant to be a slight. It’s really just about how they are wired. That doesn’t mean that they don’t appreciate all of you or that they only want you for sex, it’s just when they are being sexual they will notice and want to touch body parts.
I encourage y’all to understand that when your husband grabs for you, it’s just an expression of his sexuality and not a personal slight. Your husband just loves to touch what appeals to him. In a very real sense, if you reject his touch, you are rejecting him. If you receive with grace his little touches here and there you are accepting him and setting the stage for a more full expression of love at a later time.

This is something that I certainly struggle with, and just seem not to be able to overcome as of yet. I know that guys are mostly of the Love Language of physical touch, but for me it is just so hard.
Thank you for that post. I never really thought of my husband’s attraction to my body from that point of view. I am new to your blog and I have really enjoyed learning how to be a better wife. It is really encouraging.
I love this! Thank you for sharing it. I used to have a hard time with this thinking “all he can think about is sex!” with my first husband. But in this latter part of life, I am completely open to my new husband who is VERY touchy-feely and isn’t afraid to admit it. I do not feel like an object as in former days and know he loves me very much. It is a blessing as well as very enjoyable!
I so understand this mine does love to grab certain areas and well i didnt just get use to it i started to enjoy it.. its nice to know he wants me!
