My husband loves to play in the dirt. It’s not my absolute favorite thing, but I do enjoy new little plants and flowers and I do love working outside with my husband (it’s good couple time).

You might look for yard activities to do with your husband.  Fix up the entrance to your home with a few flowers, start a few strawberries (or whatever is in season in your area), or clear an area of your yard.

There can be no other occupation like gardening in which, if you were to creep behind someone at their work, you would find them smiling.  Mirabel Osler
