Thanks Lori for all the time you put into your ministry. I love the question idea for generous tips! I love getting my husband to talk and learning something new about him too…it helps keep your marriage new n fresh. Life can be so full of responsbilites and you loose the carefreeness that you had as a teenager. It’s good to have reminders to dream and use your imagination. May God bless you abundantly!!
I picked up a couple books for a road trip this summer along these lines that were a lot of fun called “Do You Know Your Wife” and “Do You Know Your Husband”. It’s kind of a game to see who knows the other best and they’re a blast! Another one I picked up was “All About Us”, which also asks each person questions, but they get quite a bit more intimate and sticky. Definitely reccommend them!
The best movie, I think, was Fireproof. That moviehas stuck with me since it came out bc it reminded me that our marriage is work every day. I even bought the Love Dare cards and I pull one out and act on it that day. It is so rewarding to know that I’m loving my husband and putting an effort he can see and feel into it. Ever since then, our marriage has healed, and we have gotten through our own personal trials together.
