Calendar Helps

Go through the calendar that your husband uses (some guys would want you to check with them first) and add important days and holidays. If he has a good sense of humor add a few silly holidays as well (January 31st is Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day and February 4th is Wear Red Day).

I decided to put our Family Calendar in the one place we would all see and not have to make a special effort to go look at it. We hang ours right next to our toilet in our bathroom (not the guest bath). Soooo, everytime “you’re just there” you are up to date on the daily events. And we all add to it, Mom, Dad, and kiddos. Oh, and on a funny note, I found an “Outhouse” calendar at Barns and Noble this year – PERFECT!!!

Hmm, makes me think that maybe our family is getting close to a point where we need a family calendar. That way we’re all on the same page.
