My husband, son and I joined with friends to celebrate several baptisms last night.  It was so lovely to watch good friends commit to Christ, parents baptizing their children, and hearts warmed by the celebration of New Life.  It’s not an overt marriage building date, but it has been my experience that anything that builds a sense of family and honors the things of God helps to build your marriage.  My husband and I left with happy hearts and memories of shared smiles, laughter and the incredible joy that comes from getting new brothers and sisters in Christ.  Yeah, God!

Do look for those opportunities to be family in the body of Christ.  Baptisms, weddings, infant blessings, and gatherings of all kinds can turn your heart toward your husband and his heart toward you.
