A man of knowledge uses words with restraint, and a man of understanding is even-tempered. Proverbs 17:27  NIV

I ran across this scripture and thought it would make a great “hubby prayer.”

 Lord, I ask that you would help my husband grow in knowledge and understanding.  Help him to see when to act or speak .. and when not to.  Teach him what it is to have restraint and be even-tempered.  In Jesus’ name. Amen. (hint: It’s not a bad idea to pray that for yourself as well.)
