All this recent financial talk reminded me that we need to pray for our finances in general. 

Pray for the stability of any work you or your husband has and for the wise management of the monies you do have.  Pray for inventive ideas to make a bit extra.  Or pray for right attitudes about money, saving and spending.  Or pray about where and how to give. 

God cares about us and our finances.

And so I urge you: carry on an ongoing conversation with God about the daily stuff of life, a little like Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof. For now, do not worry about “proper” praying, just talk to God.  Richard J. Foster
