Of Bunny Poop and Gratitude

I had another grateful moment the other day. I sat there feeling so blessed and loved.

Now please understand, my life is not perfect. I still have to do the laundry and clean bunny poop out of the bunny barn*.

That said, by focusing on the good in my life, I’m far less grouchy and I’m enjoying my life more and more (and I’m sure I’m far easier to be around). I see the good and bad in a better balance. The bad doesn’t govern my thoughts and feelings nearly as much.

Gratitude won’t necessarily fix a problem, but it will likely help you with your attitudes and that makes it easier to face and fix a problem.

It also just makes life more fun and enjoyable.

What are you grateful for in your life and marriage? (Be sure to share with your husband.)

(*No, I don’t like cleaning up bunny poop, but come Spring, my garden is going to be amazing because of all the fertilizer. So I guess that makes me grateful for bunny poop.)

It is only with gratitude that life becomes rich. Dietrich Bonhoeffer
