A Change in Attitude

Finally, (sisters), whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.  Philippians 4:8  ESV (parenthesis mine)

In this stressful season, it’s easy to grumble, worry, and generally get frustrated with life. I’m tempted as well. I just know that worrying, whining, and fussing makes me difficult to live with (and I don’t enjoy my own company either).

So, I’m on a roll, trying to notice all the good. My husband fixed me coffee this morning. I have cute bunnies to tend to. I live out in the country and it’s beautiful outside. My son and DIL have given me the cutest grandkids ever. I could go on, but I’m committed to writing relatively short posts.

Yes, I’m concerned about many things in life, but I’m turning my worries into prayers. When I feel like grumbling, I ask God to help me change my attitude and work to speak kindly. I look to create a bit of fun too.
