No Time Like the Present

I have a lot of time around my sweetie. We’ve been living together and working with each other for years and recently we’ve had even more time together.

The one downside for me is that it becomes so normal I can easily check out instead of being present. Paul becomes background noise instead of someone I do life with.

So, I’m trying to find moments where I am really present in relationship and conversation. When we sit outside and enjoy the view, I am present. When we share a meal, I am present. When we talk over plans, I am present.

I encourage y’all to do likewise. Find those situations that can act as a reminder and be aware and present with your sweetie.

Wherever you are be all there. Jim Elliot
