The other day I accidentally walked into a tense situation that left folks feeling a bit embarrassed by their behavior.
I do understand that we are not always at our best and we tend to be more transparent with those closest to us. Unfortunately, this was more a case of their behavior at home being significantly different from how they act in public. Certainly, something for them to pray about and deal with.

I try to learn from situations both good and bad. So I had to ask myself if my friends accidentally walked into my home and saw how I act there, would they be surprised? Am I, relatively speaking, the same at home as I am out in public?
If there is going to be any difference I hope that it runs in a positive direction and that my husband gets better treatment at home.
How about you? Do you treat your husband as nicely as you treat others? If not, perhaps an apology is in order and some thoughtful change.
If you want to make a positive impact, no matter how far-reaching, start at home. Treat your family members like treasures. John C Maxwell

I hope you will follow up with them a bit and make sure the situation IS being dealt with and not just covered up.
Sadly, this is a closed door. There is no physical abuse involved and they are not interested in changing the way they do life and marriage.
I am sorry to hear that and will pray the situation may change
Thanks so much.
