For many of us, being at home means more free time and perhaps a bit of boredom. We’re not used to filling out time at home and one common choice is to fill it with entertainment.

Now that’s not necessarily a bad thing (we all need some downtime). My encouragement is to seek out forms of entertainment that are marriage-friendly and guard against those things that are marriage-harmful.

Perhaps ask yourself a few questions. How much time do I spend with each form of entertainment? What effect do they have on me? What effect do they have on my marriage? Are there any forms of entertainment that could bring me and my husband together? What do I want to add or subtract to my entertainment choices?

Do enjoy your entertainment time, just be wise about it.
