You Choose

“What do you want to do?”
“I don’t know. What do you want to do?”

Been there? As a way of jumpstarting a decision (and a bit of fun), ask your spouse, “Old or new?”

If you’re talking about dinner, dine at your usual place or try a new restaurant. Eating at home? Add an old favorite to your menu plan or ask your husband to help you pick out a new recipe.

If you’re talking about what to do for the evening, try that new game you got for Christmas (and still haven’t opened) or pull out an old favorite.

Entertainment? Go through your movies and pick out the oldest movie you own or check out a new TV series.

Calling out “Old or new?” is just one way of adding a bit of interest to your day.
