Don’t Get Lazy

My sweetie and I have been working on our marriage skills for thirty-six years (and offering each other grace in the growing and learning).

Now, honestly, we could just congratulate ourselves and kickback in the knowledge that “we’re good.” However, if those thirty-six years have taught me anything it’s that this kind of attitude is a recipe for laziness and drift. End of a good marriage.

If you want to stay capable and sharp with any skill, it requires ongoing work (a bit of continuing education is good too).

What could you do this weekend to grow in or practice a marriage skill?

You have to continue to hone your craft. Shawn Michaels
