A simple prayer for your day …

Lord, change me.

Yes, it takes a certain amount of humility to say this. And, yes, others need to deal with their stuff too, but we need to do our part in keeping peaceable relationships, taking care of the important things in life, and just being kind. We need to allow God to do His work in us to make us more like Jesus.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10 ESV
