This quote was from my daily devotional Live in Grace, Walk in Love. It kind of jumped off the page and into my brain. I figured y’all might need the encouragement too. :)

We can get so caught up in doing things the way everyone else does them (having culture’s permission) or checking our plans with others (getting advice, permission, or approval).

Hear me y’all. We are individuals created by an amazing God, with gifts, abilities, dreams, and hopes. Our marriages are unique and there are dreams and adventures to be had.

Please, take the time to talk and dream with your man. Then take a step or two. Don’t wait for permission from the folks around you. You already have what you need given to you by God.
