My DIL has been struggling with sciatic pain and I’ve chosen to help with her housework so she has the time to spend with family. Mostly I do the dishes and pick up a bit each day.
Well, I had a couple of busy days and didn’t get over to take care of the housework and, you guessed it, there was quite the build-up. Dishes and more dishes. Toys scattered here, there, and everywhere.

There is wisdom in dealing with things on a daily basis (or at least in a timely way). If you don’t, then things pile up and you have messes.
The marriage application is that there is wisdom in dealing with things on a daily basis (or at least in a timely way). :) When you let a problem continue, it grows and gets messier.
Do you and your husband have a poor morning routine that means your day starts with fussiness? Do you have disagreement over how to handle the finances? Are you struggling to decide which responsibilities to take on and which to say no to?
Don’t put it off. Whatever your struggle, invite your husband to talk it through and deal with it before it becomes bigger and messier.
When you confront a problem you begin to solve it. Rudy Giuliani
