I was relaxing one evening just scrolling through Pinterest and came across the idea of an “emergency go bag.”

Most years we are at risk because of forest fires (I live in Washington state and we aren’t called the evergreen state for nothing). Thankfully, this year is a bit wetter and we haven’t had any fires so far, but for us, it’s just a smart idea to be prepared to “go” at a moment’s notice.

I pass the idea on to y’all because emergencies happen and it’s a good thing to be prepared instead of running around like crazy grabbing things, hoping you get everything you need. Better to think it through when you’re not in a hurry and make a thorough list, followed by a “go bag” in a place that makes it easy to grab and go.

We all have different kinds of emergencies and the list of items we might need will be very different. So talk to you man, do a search on Pinterest, and do the work of being prepared. It could make hard times a little easier with a good deal less hassle and worry.
