Ask your husband to sit down with you and take a moment to clean out your wallets.

Are your important card and paper bits current (do you need to reissue a card or do you need to get a PIN number)?  Toss the junk.  Add some emergency cash and a picture of your sweetie.

While you’re at it, do you have all the phone numbers you need?  Update the contact info you keep on your phone. Think through possible situations and make sure that you both have what you need to take care of the emergencies and crazy circumstances that life can throw at you.

A little preparation can save you a lot of hassle down the road.
