Good Morning

What are the first words out of your mouth in the morning?

What we experience or hear first tends to set the tone for our day. That’s true for hubby as well.

So let your words be kind and encouraging. Give his day a great start. Yours too.

Morning is the time when you set the tone for the rest of the day. Set it right. Have a nice day. Author Unknown

thank you so much for your daily encouragement and sometimes challenges to help us as women become a better “me” and a better “we” in our marriage.
today’s post was both simple and profound. I would also like to add that if you are a quiet person in the morning that sometimes sends different messages as well. thoughts run crazy through my mind what I can talk about with my husband first thing in the morning and like most mornings I end up speaking nothing…I have finally figured it out that a simple “good morning…” and “I love you…” set the most beautiful tone for the day.

This is so very true! This morning was our first day of school (I homeschool 4 children) and as I was getting dressed, my husband rolled over in bed, saw me (half-dressed) and made an appreciative “mm-hmm, I like that teacher”. Made my day!
