Season Prep

Wherever you are in the world you are either dealing with seasonal changes or you will be very soon.

Why not get out ahead of it and make the transition easier for you and your sweetie?

Begin the process of changing out seasonal clothes (pull out your winter clothes, wash them, try them on, etc.). Are there any yard or household projects that need to be done? Start putting away those things you are done with for the summer. What winter activities do you need to prepare for? Make sure you know where the Christmas items are.

Think and talk it through with your husband and be prepared for winter needs. Store what you don’t need.

There is no season such delight can bring, as summer, autumn, winter, and the spring. William Browne

Due to an unexpected (aren’t they always unexpected?) plumbing issue this weekend that required an impromptu closet cleaning, I began this cleaning out Saturday. One closet connected to another as lightbulbs popped as to what could or should be eliminated, then to a third. Still have to finish the mess today but I’ve drafted my daughter’s help. I tend to shuffle things higher rather than out of the door and she is not so sentimental.
