On Sundays at lunchtime, Paul fixes these really cool sandwiches. We usually have a leisurely meal and play Five Crowns. It’s something we look forward to each week.

We have other weekly or monthly habits – a weekly day off, a meal out when we do our monthly(ish) shopping in the big city, Tuesday computer time at our favorite coffee shop, etc..

It’s just nice to have something to look forward to on a regular basis and it’s something that we try to make a little special.

I encourage y’all to do likewise or, just for fun, come up with something new like pizza night on the last Friday of the month or special movie night (where you take turns picking movies to watch) on Saturdays.

The idea is to have something to look forward to as a couple, something that is special and just for the two of you.
