Make a Habit of It

I have a friend that really struggles with housekeeping. She didn’t develop habits as a child/adolescent, so she is having to learn how to take care of chores as an adult.

Her go-to is a bit of accountability from a friend and a to-do list to keep her on track.

Not a bad solution when you are trying to establish a new habit.

What personal or marriage habits are you trying to create? Would a bit of accountability from a friend help? How about a to-do list or a sticky note reminder?

Habits can seem a bit boring, but they are a powerhouse for getting things done. If you want to be intentional about making an important change, build a habit.

(My newest habit is to check my desk at the end of each day and put everything away. No more messy desk.)

Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going. Jim Rohn
