Mealtime Question

My husband and I shop in the “big city” about once a month. We usually dine out (which sometimes means pick up and eating in the car, but oh well, you do what you can do).

At any rate, this last week while munching on a BLT and sweet potato fries, my husband surprised me with a question.

What one person (who is living today) would you like to share a meal with?

After considering several choices, I settled on Bob and Maria Goff (husband and wife are one, right?). Bob’s devotional (Live in Grace, Walk in Love) has given me a window into their lives. They’ve challenged me to be more loving and to take risks for the Kingdom.

A simple easy question over a meal can be a great way of hearing each other’s hearts.

I’m enjoying your emails, even though I don’t respond a lot. Just wanted you to know. You always have something for me to explore or learn. I love Bob Goff so today it’s your mention of his book, one that I haven’t read. Thanks for all your inspiration!
