I’ve been thinking about stocking stuffers lately. I like to add a few small things to each stocking and help fill them out a bit (I have extended family where I live).
I was wandering around our local Dollar Store and came across these cute little notebooks and I thought they would make great gratitude journals. They had a couple of lines for each day of the year. If I attached a label to the front (like “Sarah’s Gratitude Journal”) and slipped a note inside explaining the concept, I think they’d make a great stocking stuffer that is truly a gift.

A couple of years back I made the habit of writing down something I was grateful for in my bullet journal each day. It had a good impact on my attitudes and my marriage. I could see the difference it made at the end of the year.
So today’s post is a two-fer tip.
Gratitude is a powerful catalyst for happiness. It’s the spark that lights a fire of joy in your soul. Amy Collette

Great idea! I may make prayer journals to add to my family’s stockings this year. :)
We have made a helpful habit regarding gratitude with our family in always including at least 2 things we are grateful for in our daily prayers before bed. It has a similar effect and ends the day well!
In everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Phil. 4: :)
Nice. It’s always good to share what you are grateful for. :)
