A Daily Step

Last year I read Paul David Tripp’s New Morning Mercies devotional and this year I’ve been reading Bob Goff’s Live in Grace, Walk in Love.

In the past, I really didn’t like devotionals (not sure why), but now I’m all about them. They are baby steps (and y’all know I love baby steps) to a transformed heart and mind. (It’s also nice that Paul and I have been reading the same devotional so we have something in common to talk about.)

I encourage y’all to consider one for 2021. Either of the ones I mentioned above is guy-friendly, so if your sweetie wants to join in, it should be relatively easy.

Progress. Just make progress. It’s okay to have setbacks and the need for do-overs … Just make sure you’re moving the line forward. Move forward. Take baby steps… Then change will come. And it will be good. Lysa TerKeurst

Also, a note of thanks to y’all for your year-end giving. You bless Paul and me with your generosity.
