Every now and then I hear about a silly holiday and it reminds me to have fun (I’m sort of “play challenged”).
One of my go-to sites for silly holidays is Brownie Locks and the Three Teddy Bears (or you could do a search for silly holidays).
There are fun food and drinks to celebrate.
National Hot Tea Day (Jan 12)
National Bagel Day (Jan 15)
Popcorn Day (Jan 19)
and my favorite – National Pie Day (Jan 23)
Fun things to do:
International Brain Teaser Month (all month long)
Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day (Jan 25)
National Plan For A Vacation Day (Jan 26)
National Seed Swap Day (Jan 30)
Ways to bless your sweetie:
National Hugging Day: (Jan 21)
National Compliment Day: (Jan 24)

And just some crazy ideas you could run with:
National Cheesy Sock Month (think of all the crazy socks out there)
Rubber Ducky Day (Jan 13)
Penguin Awareness Day (Jan 20)
Opposite Day (Jan 25)
If none of these appeal to you, there are plenty more all year long. Pick a few and have fun.
If I ever have any back-up dancers, I want the penguins from Madagascar. Ed Sheeran

Barb’s church is very prim and proper,
and seems, well, rather ordinary,
so here’s my thought, and it’s a topper,
“Greased Pig In The Sanctuary”.
Squealing up and down the aisles,
through the pews to meet n’ greet;
think of all the happy smiles
as church elders raise their feet
and kids after porker scamper
on a grab-and-capture mission
before he finds the picnic hamper
someone left out in the kitchen!
Barb said she’d pass it on to pastor,
from “My Husband The Disaster”.
I’ve used this same site for homeschooling my children but never thought to be inspired by it for my marriage. Thanks for the fun and silly post. ;)
Also, thanks for sharing my Marriage Tidbit! How kind of you!
Welcome!
