Look for Opportunities

❤ ❤ ❤ 8 days to Valentine’s Day! ❤ ❤ ❤

I don’t know about y’all, but I tend to get a bit lazy when I’m busy or tired. Instead of getting up to get my own glass of water, I’ll wait until Paul is on his feet and ask him to get it for me.

Now honestly, that’s not necessarily a terrible thing (if I’m truly busy and I wait for it to be convenient for him that’s a good thing), but if I do it fairly often, (now, let’s be honest) I’m just getting lazy and out of the habit of serving others (especially my sweetie).

So today, look for opportunities to serve your husband. Get him a drink when you’re getting your own. Help him with a project. Let him choose the movie to watch. Be intentionally generous with your time and effort.

The desire to serve others is the highest impulse of the human heart and the rewards of such service are beyond measure. Ganga Stone
