❤ ❤ ❤ 5 days to Valentine’s Day! ❤ ❤ ❤
Paul and I are still hunkered down where we live and, honestly, I miss being able to go out for a meal or wander through a thrift or craft store. In-the-city dates haven’t happened in months and we didn’t get to eat at our usual restaurant recently on our anniversary (we’ve promised each other to do that at the soonest opportunity).
So I’m thinking of challenging my sweetie to an alphabet at-home date for a bit of creative fun. I got the idea from The Romantic Vineyard (they have alphabet dates where all the parts of the date have to start with the same letter).
Well, as a bit of a spin, I figured you could pick a word and you have to do activities that start with all the letters of the word. It would give you lots and lots of creative options (you could even challenge each other to use the same word and see how creative you both can get). For example, if I pick the word “carob.”

C – call and visit with friends for a fun talk
A – answer a few questions for a bit of intimate talk
R – read a bit to each other from our current reading books (I’m reading The Anatomy of Peace)
O – play Othello (though orgasm would not be a bad choice)
B – finish up with brownies because, well, … chocolate (carob would work too!) :)
As you can see, there is really plenty to do at home and the word challenge adds a bit of creative fun.
The monotony and solitude of a quiet life stimulates the creative mind. Albert Einstein
