Compliment and Acknowledge

My husband tried his hand at making Tiramisu (don’t hate me because I’m spoiled).

Aside from the fact that it was amazingly tasty (and I would be very happy if he made it again), I made a point of complimenting him and making a bit of a deal about it. He took the time and energy to try something new and though it was “only” a dessert, it was a really kind thing to do.

My point in making us all drool is that our hubbies could use some kind and encouraging words. Compliment your man. Celebrate his successes. Acknowledge his efforts.

As an exercise and a way of building a new habit. Look for a way to compliment or encourage your husband every day for a week.

Compliment people. Magnify their strengths, not their weaknesses. Author Unknown
