Yes, you want good lighting for the normal stuff like making the bed, reading, putting away laundry, etc.. You may also want to consider softer forms of lighting for romantic moments with your husband (it’s easier to show a bit of skin in low or soft light).

There are small nightstand lights (or you could use a dimmer switch on a standard light). Twinkle or string lights are fun. Lamps and candles are lovely (just be safe where open flames are concerned).
