Sleep Tight

Most people are a bit sleep deprived. Kids, long work hours, far too many activities, and more have cut into the number of hours of sleep we need.

If you are a homebody now, do take advantage of the time and catch up on your sleep. If you have kidlets you can always take turns so you and spouse can both get a bit of extra sleep. My son and DIL do this with their little ones. If she’s up in the night, my son will take a shift first thing in the morning so she can sleep in.

You could even have a “quiet time” each afternoon (kids in their rooms for reading or quiet play). Take a nap or stretch out for a bit of rest. Don’t forget to enjoy a little afternoon delight.

Sleep is an investment in the energy you need to be effective tomorrow. Tom Roth
