Practical Prep

The other day Paul and I drove into town (a 40-minute drive) and found we’d forgotten Paul swim gear (he’s swimming a couple of times a week for exercise). Bummer.

Just to be practical, we decided to tuck an old swimsuit and towel in the truck as back up. Life happens and it’s nice to have a plan B for forgetfulness.

It got me to thinking. The truck needs a good Spring cleaning anyhow. Why not gather bits of useful things so we’re prepared for little needs when we’re on the road. Certainly, we could use change for parking, napkins for clean up, and a bag for trash.

What practical items would make your driving easier or safer?

The better you’re prepared, the better chance you’ll have at staying on top of everything that is coming your way. Colin Adams
