Today is St. Patrick’s Day. I’ve never really celebrated the day (other than to wear green so I don’t get pinched by my sweetie). Out of curiosity, I looked it up on Wikipedia. It has some interesting roots, though it’s somewhat commercialized now.

And, no, you don’t have to celebrate Paddy’s Day (though you should probably wear green so you don’t get pinched by your sweetie), but do give some thought to what you do celebrate, why, and how. Celebrations give us an opportunity to love on each other and make special memories. That’s important in marriage and in all our relationships.
I just went through and updated my list of birthdays and holidays and put them all on my Trello calendar. And I’m actually thinking about Christmas and what I’d like to do differently this year. I’m a slow processor so I’m starting now. :)
Just FYI, this week is American Chocolate Week (do we need an excuse for chocolate?) and we should all think about getting a guinea pig (this is Adopt a Rescued Guinea Pig Month). More March holidays.
May your hearth be warm, your holidays grand, and your heart held gently in the good Lord’s hand. Irish saying
