What’s in Your Garden?

I’ve been planning my garden for this year. We’re just now losing the last of our snow and slogging about in mud. Hopefully, it won’t be too much longer before we can get outside and play in the dirt.

That said, I am always amazed by seeds. They’re such tiny little things and they are chock full of life and future growth. There’s even future fruit with more seeds tucked in there somewhere.

It made me think about the “seeds” we plant in our marriages. They are packed chock full of life and future growth. There’s even future fruit with more seeds tucked in there somewhere.

Knowing that all I do and say has a significant long-term impact, I’m serious about planting the good kind of seeds in my marriage. When I’m frustrated I want to plant “grace” and “understanding.” I’d like some “generosity” and “kindness” too. Maybe a bit of “fun” and “creativity.”

What’s in your marriage garden?

The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:12 ESV
